Sunset Bay, Oregon afternoon before the storm.

Working with roots of an ancient forest.  Decided Black n White worked better than color.

Color was better when a few rays of sunlight hit the cliffs and roots.

Two versions of late afternoon forest light.  I think I like the tighter shot better.

After the first major storm of the season. Sunset Bay, Oregon

The following roots are from an ancient forest probably near the end of the last ice age.  They are normally under water but the extreme low tide and storm surf exposed them.  Amazing stuff!

First light hits the cliffs surrounding the bay.

This guys was listening to his favorite tunes and watching the ocean do it's thing.  He said he doesn't get to see this sort of thing in Las Vegas!

A few major splashes.  What fun!
