Mt Hood, Oregon after a major snowstorm.

These two shots are "full color" though there really isn't much in ether.

The previous day's storm had peak winds of 149mph or 240kph and heavy snow. Mother Nature sculpted this scene. Certainly defines the wind direction.

Testing Macro capabilities of Zeiss 135mm f2 APO

I have been working through my selection of lenses testing them for macro work.  I was pleasantly surprised to find the Zeiss 135mm f2 APO Sonnar is great. I attached a 12mm extension tube, then a 20mm, then a 36mm, and finally added the 36mm and 20mm together.  Thus I got the acorn shots.

Next I went back to the 20mm alone to shoot this Pink Lady apple.

I am really pleased with the image quality and am now ready for the Spring flower feast that is just beginning here in the Northwest!

Couldn't resist another acorn shot.

This lens combination is going to be fun!
