Testing Macro capabilities of Zeiss 135mm f2 APO

I have been working through my selection of lenses testing them for macro work.  I was pleasantly surprised to find the Zeiss 135mm f2 APO Sonnar is great. I attached a 12mm extension tube, then a 20mm, then a 36mm, and finally added the 36mm and 20mm together.  Thus I got the acorn shots.

 

Next I went back to the 20mm alone to shoot this Pink Lady apple.

I am really pleased with the image quality and am now ready for the Spring flower feast that is just beginning here in the Northwest!
